Can you believe it? This December, the original PlayStation turns 30! 🎉 It feels like I was getting lost in those pixelated worlds yesterday. To kick off this monumental celebration, Sony has dropped a super emotional “Thank You” video that hits home run for all the fans!

The journey has been nothing short of epic. From pioneering 3D graphics to launching iconic franchises, PlayStation has shaped our gaming experiences for decades. Sony captures this sentiment perfectly in their video description: “For the past three decades, we’ve shared an incredible journey, building stories and shaping experiences together.” Seriously, how can you not feel nostalgic after reading that?

The two-minute clip showcases some of the most beloved franchises ever, like Final Fantasy and God of War, with snippets that remind us why we fell in love with gaming in the first place. If you haven’t seen it yet (what are you waiting for?), check it out below:

While December 3 marks the official anniversary in Japan, let’s not forget that North America and Europe had to wait until September 1995 to join the party! So get ready. There’s still so much more celebration ahead. It’s like a birthday month for gamers everywhere!

I’m curious, though, what are your favorite PlayStation memories? Did you shed a tear while playing The Last of Us, or maybe laugh your heart out during LittleBigPlanet? Drop your thoughts below, and let’s chat about those unforgettable moments!
