Hello, Summoners! The Dev Team from Summoners War has just dropped another Developer’s Preview, focusing on the second part of their 11th Anniversary Update. This update is packed with enhancements that aim to make your gameplay smoother and more enjoyable. Let’s break down what’s coming your way!
The big news is the revamp of Siege Battle, which kicked off in Season 18 on March 31. Players are eager to experience these updates, and feedback has been a mix of excitement and curiosity about how they’ll change competitive play.
Patch Notes Highlights:
- New Rift Raid Bosses: Fire, Water, and Wind Attribute bosses will be introduced to improve Grindstone farming efficiency. The skill sets for these bosses are under review to ensure challenging yet approachable encounters.
- Khi’zar Kha’jul: The existing Chaos Beast will continue as a neutral attribute raid boss, dropping all types of Grindstones.
- Grindstone Usability Improvements: When using Gems on sub-properties after applying Grindstones, the amplified values will now carry over. For instance:
- If you have a Rune with SPD +7 gained through Gem conversion and then amplify it with a SPD +5 Grindstone, it becomes SPD +12.
- If you then use a SPD Legend Gem (SPD +10), instead of resetting the Grinded value as before (to SPD +10), you’ll end up with SPD +15.
- This means that while changing sub-properties with different Gems resets any amplified values, you’ll no longer need to worry about losing those gains when swapping like-for-like properties!
- The addition of new Attribute Raid Bosses along with these usability improvements is projected for release in late April.
Arena & Events Update:
- The game version will hit v8.6.9 on April 12, bringing updates such as the revamped Arena and Arena Interserver Battles alongside refreshed monster visuals and anniversary events discussed previously.
Solve Key Issues:
- The team is working diligently on addressing major issues related to Siege Battle Rune separation, aiming for an introduction by the end of May.
This announcement wraps up today’s insights from the Developers’ Preview! These changes highlight their commitment to listening to player feedback and constantly striving for improvement in Summoners War.
