If a story goes back and forth and you’re the original creator of it, you must settle it down to zero. In this case, the story is in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer and its microtransactions, which seemingly spread across the globe with a whole lot of confusion. Because of this, CD Projekt Red had to clarify once again, that aside from Microtransactions in Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer, the core single-player experience won’t include any.
In a recent tweet on the official Cyberpunk 2077 profile, the developer has discovered that nothing’s changed and that the single-player game will have no microtransactions whatsoever.
Nothing changed. Cyberpunk 2077 is a single player game with zero microtransactions. One single purchase. No tricks. Don't believe the clickbait. https://t.co/qX0iZwsAf2

Furthermore, the developer has also noticed that the multiplayer version of Cyberpunk 2077 is a separate project from the single-player game. It also assured the fans that they would treat their money with respect. Therefore, there’s nothing to worry about unless we see a late, game-changing addition before the game comes out. CD Projekt RED is a renowned developer, and trusting their word is probably the right choice.
