CD Project Red could face a Class-Action Lawsuit over Cyberpunk 2077

Once most anticipated, now one of the most despised games ever released, Cyberpunk 2077 did not meet players’ comfort at all. Sadly, the story of this Action RPG does not end here, as numerous indications prove that the situation might lean into a deeper state, which could cost CD Projekt Red a fortune.

According to a NYTimes statement, CD Projekt Red might face a class-action lawsuit against them due to product riddled with bugs, which followed shortly by millions of refunds and removal from the PlayStation Store for good. Investors are pissed off, and CD Projekt Red is guilty of breaking Article 286 of the Polish penal code: misrepresentation to obtain financial benefits. The almost decennial hype is finally put to an end. As many would agree to, body modification in Cyberpunk 2077 is no longer an obsession.

It turns out that Cyberpunk 2077 has become the most hatred video game title, especially for those using next-gen consoles because the final product is not even close to representing a final and completely polished game. To bring the black humor to this chatter, we had to talk about a Twitter response made by the official Cyberpunk 2077 account back in 2018. In a question, if Cyberpunk 2077 would include memes, the developers responded with the following: “Whole Game is Going to be a Meme.” The tweet can be found below:

Whole game is going to be a meme.

Shortly after Cyberpunk 2077’s release, the sky turned dark. The most favorite video game developer for many has turned into something different that may face even further consequences. What people considered to be the mastermind of single-player RPG games is no longer. The breath is long lost, and only the hope prevails, as CD Projekt Red loses tons of reputation in the public’s eyes.
