Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 is taking its repair work into a much bigger operation with a new bundle that pairs it with Black Gold: Oil Drilling Simulator. The package is now available on Steam, according to the Steam announcement, bringing together two simulation games built around machines, maintenance, and business management.
Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 handles the garage side of the pairing. Players restore vehicles by working through worn-out parts and mechanical repairs, then get them back on the road.
Black Gold takes the work into the oil field
Black Gold: Oil Drilling Simulator moves the action into a first-person oil operation. Players can construct drilling equipment, maintain pumps, gears, and valves, hire a crew, and sell the oil they extract.
Profits can fund new technology, better equipment, and a larger operation. Instead of focusing on one vehicle at a time, the game asks players to keep an entire oil business running, which gives the bundle a clear change of pace from the workshop setting.
The announcement also includes a trailer for the bundle.
