Monster Hunter Wilds is keeping the hype alive well into 2025 with two more major updates announced by Capcom. These updates promise fresh endgame challenges, new monsters, and more ways to customize your gear, all for free. If you thought the journey was over after the second update, think again!

The developers shared some juicy hints on their official Monster Hunter Japanese X account about the direction for Title Updates 3 and 4, focusing on expanding the endgame experience. I gotta say, I’m intrigued by the randomness in talisman skills, it sounds like it’ll disrupt how we build our hunters.

Title Update 3 – Late September

Coming late September, TU3 will bring a new set of tough quests for those who crave a real challenge. Additionally, new talismans will be introduced, featuring randomly assigned composite skills, which will mix things up across appraisal, weapon skills, armor skills, and slots. This means players will have to adapt their builds and maybe experiment more than usual. Honestly, that sounds like a fun shake-up for the meta.

Title Update 4 – Winter

The last major update of the year arrives in winter, bringing more endgame content and new monsters to hunt. Capcom also mentioned that they’re ensuring your hard-earned Artian weapons won’t become useless, which is a relief if you’ve invested time upgrading them. It looks like crafting and upgrading will still be worthwhile as new patches roll out.

Capcom hasn’t spilled all the beans yet, saying more details will be revealed closer to the release. They also acknowledged that updates every few months might test some players’ patience, but they’re asking for understanding while they continue to improve the game.

Before these, Title Update 2 is dropping on June 30, featuring new monsters Lagiacrus and Seregios, layered weapons, photo mode, and various gameplay improvements. So if you haven’t caught up yet, there’s plenty to keep you busy.

What do you think about these upcoming updates? Are you excited to try the random talismans or curious about the new monsters?
