Call of the Sea is an upcoming adventure video game developed by Out of the Blue and published by Raw Fury. It was one of the first games to be revealed for the Xbox Series X/S, and it just got a new trailer, giving us the release date!
The game is set in 1934 in the far reaches of the South Pacific. You’ll play as Norah, a woman who has crossed the ocean following the trail of her missing husband’s expedition and finds herself on a mysterious island which the locals don’t even dare to name.
As she goes looking for her husband, Norah finds remnants and remains of a forgotten civilization. During Norah’s journey, she also gets to find out who she is. Norah is also voiced by Cissy Jones, who has taken part in Firewatch, The Walking Dead: Season 1
Call of the Sea will launch on December 8 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Windows 10 store. It will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass.
