The latest update for Call of Duty: Warzone, released on April 7 by Raven Software, addresses some critical balance issues that have surfaced recently. This patch focuses on two overpowered weapon attachments and adjusts the number of Buy Stations available in Trios mode. These changes aim to improve the overall gameplay experience while keeping things competitive.
Snakeshot Ammunition and Thermal 6x Scope Removed
.500 Snakeshot Ammunition, an attachment for the Basilisk pistol, has been temporarily restricted due to its overpowering performance. When paired with the Akimbo attachment, these pistols achieved quick two-shot kills at close range, outclassing other short-range options.
The Thermal 6x Scope has also been removed from play because it lacks glint. The absence of scope glint is problematic because it prevents players from being alerted when an enemy aims at them.
Buy Stations Being Changed
The number of Buy Stations spawned in Battle Royale Trios has been reduced to better align with squad sizes during matches. Typically, the game adjusts the amount based on team composition since larger squads do not require as many stations.
