Preloading is a great feature, especially for those with a slow internet connection, and it will allow them to download their game before the release and hop simultaneously as the rest. With the SP campaign being available one week before the full release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward confirmed that the pre-load for the Early Access Campaign is now live.
The download size of the campaign is ~35GB, so make sure you have space on your hard drive.
On Wednesday, the developer confirmed that the Early Access campaign starts tomorrow, and the preload is already available for those who have pre-ordered the game. Furthermore, Infinity Ward warns content creators to hide their screens when loading the game because of security measures.
The preload feature is available on every platform. Battle.net users that have the option grayed out should restart the Battle.net launcher. We’re excited and ready to dive into the exciting and revamped Call of Duty single-player experience.
