Call of Duty: Mobile Season 11 6th Anniversary launches on December 11 at 12AM PT and brings the biggest gameplay addition of the year: DMZ – Recon, a three-player extraction mode alongside a large Street Fighter crossover and seasonal events. DMZ – Recon drops squads of three into PvPvE fights where looting and successful extraction are the only ways to keep what was earned. Matches run on two maps: the large, zone-based Serpent Island and the tighter, indoor Building 21. Players will complete Contracts, hunt bosses for rare loot, buy vehicles at Buy Stations on Serpent Island, and race the closing radiation cloud to exfil before time runs out.
Between deployments, DMZ – Recon uses a Black Market economy so extracted resources can be spent on stronger gear, and players can take on faction missions to climb progression tiers. Found gear and completed tasks also unlock over 20 new weapon camos tied to DMZ challenges. Seasonal updates have shifted the game before, readers can find context in the Season 4 Infinity Realm update as an example of past mid-season changes and new modes.
Two developer videos accompanied the announcement:
Street Fighter crossover
The Street Fighter collaboration introduces two limited-time modes. In Multiplayer players can enter the Shoryu and Hadoken moshpit, where Operators spawn with Prizefighter gloves, boosted jump, disabled scorestreaks, and a rage meter that transforms the top player into Hidora Kai – Ryu or Shigenori – Akuma with signature moves like Hadoken and Shoryuken.
Battle Royale gets Street Royale, where holograms around Isolated grant abilities inspired by Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li, and Cammy for the duration of a match. These special attacks are found as interactable items and last for the match once picked up.
Street Fighter-themed rewards arrive across the store and Secret Cache system, including Operator skins for Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li, and Cammy plus themed weapon blueprints and emotes.
Battle Pass, store draws, and seasonal events
The 6th Anniversary Battle Pass offers free and premium tracks. Free tiers include the new SO-14 Marksman Rifle and the Wheelson-HS Scorestreak, a remote-controlled armed drone. Premium tiers add Operator skins such as a holiday-themed Ajax and dojo-ready Sparrowhawk plus weapon blueprints like the SO-14 – Sleighstrike based on the new Marksman rifle. The store gains a new Mythic Draw for the SO-14 – Razor Torrent and a Four Horsemen draw featuring Tengu – Famine. Season 11 also reruns the Siren Song 2023 Battle Pass in the Battle Pass Vault and runs multiple Anniversary events with exclusive calling cards, charms, and themed weapon skins.
Other changes and events
Season 11 includes a first-person weapon animation rework across most guns to improve visual fidelity – a broad polish meant to update feel and presentation. Secret Caches return with daily claim opportunities that can grant Streetsweeper – Source Code and other limited items. New seasonal missions appear on the in-game Events tab and the Mission Board in the main menu, feeding into a Season 11 Challenge Pass that rewards Tokens for the Exchange and seasonal scorestreak reskins.
Readers can expect the new mode, crossover content, and seasonal systems to go live with the Season 11 launch on December 11 at 12AM PT.
