Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 lands on PC on November 14, and the studio has published a PC trailer, official system specifications, preload windows, and notes about handheld support ahead of launch. Preload starts November 10 at 9 AM PT, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are required, and the build includes a deep slate of PC options and optimizations.

The PC trailer is live and gives a quick look at visuals and performance options. Watch the PC trailer here:

The PC release is being handled by Beenox, with close collaboration with Treyarch. The PC build emphasizes player choice and customization, with more than 800 options for graphics, input, interface, and gameplay. Expect wide display support from 1080p to 4K and ultrawide resolutions, plus support for AMD FSR 4 and other upscaling and frame generation tech. The PC version also adds sub-frame mouse polling for tighter input and integrates Corsair iCUE lighting for supported devices.

Security and anti-cheat are part of the launch checklist. Ricochet Anti-Cheat will require TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on PCs, and additional measures may be enforced to protect matches and accounts. The studio points to further details on TPM at the Activision support page linked below.

Preloading and launch times

Players who pre-purchase digitally on PC can preload the full title, including Campaign co-op, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Preloading opens on November 10 at 9AM PT. The full game becomes playable on November 14 at midnight local time for each region. For a focused rundown on release times and preload windows, see our preorder and preload guide for Black Ops 7.

Official PC system requirements

The studio published Minimum, Recommended, and Competitive/Ultra 4K tiers. Key points:

  • Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit, Ryzen 5 1400 or Core i5-6600, 8 GB RAM, Radeon RX 470 or GTX 970/1060, SSD with 115 GB free.
  • Recommended: Windows 11 64-bit, Ryzen 5 1600X or Core i7-6700K, 12 GB RAM, RX 6600XT or RTX 3060, SSD with 115 GB free.
  • Competitive / Ultra 4K: Windows 11 64-bit, Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i7-10700K, 16 GB RAM, Radeon RX 9070XT or GeForce RTX 4080 / 5070, SSD with 115 GB free.

Recommended driver versions at launch are AMD 25.9.2, NVIDIA 581.42, and Intel 32.0.101.8132. All specs require DirectX 12 and a broadband connection. The developer also notes that Intel ARC cards require Resizable BAR and only Intel/AMD CPUs with AVX support are compatible at this time.

Handhelds and drop-in play

The PC build ships tuned for supported Windows handhelds, specifically naming the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X among tested devices. UI elements and HUD have been scaled for smaller screens, and native controller support is included so handheld players can jump into matches without additional setup.

Preorder notes and extras

Preorders on PC include instant Warzone and Black Ops 6 rewards such as the Reznov Challenge Pack and Guild Override Weapon Camo. The Vault Edition adds operator and weapon packs, extra consumables for Zombies, and season access. Preorder pages are available on the publisher storefront.

Bottom line, the PC release is fully scoped out with clear preload windows, hardware tiers, and handheld support, so check your system and drivers before November 10 if you want to be in at launch.
