New sales data out of Spain paints a worrying picture for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Across physical and digital storefronts, the shooter moved 29,026 units in the week ending November 16, while Battlefield 6 managed 86,551 copies in its launch week ending October 12, a gap of roughly 66%.
The Spanish numbers come from the trade body AEVI’s posts on X and were collated in recent coverage. See AEVI’s post listing Black Ops 7 sales on X and the earlier figure for Battlefield 6 on X. Those raw figures line up with the wider trend observed across Europe and reported earlier in an earlier look at European sales.

The gap is not limited to Spain. Black Ops 7 has also recorded the series’ weakest physical debut in Japan, according to regional retail data, and reporting on that market is available here. Taken together these markets suggest the franchise is facing headwinds this launch window. Several factors could be in play. Market fatigue around annual shooters, tougher competition from other AAA releases, and platform service coverage all matter. Activision’s decision to include the game in Xbox’s early November Game Pass lineup may affect boxed and full‑price sales dynamics and Microsoft’s Game Pass announcement is worth keeping in mind when reading the numbers here.
For Activision the key battleground now is the US launch week. If domestic sales are strong they could narrow the gap, but the early international figures will be a hard benchmark to overcome.
