Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded is arriving with some notable additions that fans have been eagerly awaiting. The update includes a faithful remake of the classic Fringe map, a fresh limited-time Party Ops mode, and several updates to Zombies and weapon balance that might shift how matches play out.
Fringe, originally from Black Ops 3 and often praised as one of the best maps in the series, returns with a new look set at the Rolling Hills distillery during its grand opening. This medium-sized 6v6 map should feel familiar but refreshed, which is kinda interesting if you enjoyed the original.
Alongside Fringe, there’s a new, smaller map called Eclipse. It’s a 6v6 or 2v2 Strike mode map set in an underground nightclub with neon lights. Some players will appreciate the tight, fast-paced action, while others may prefer the more traditional three-lane layouts. What do you think about smaller maps?
Party Ops combines various fan-favorite party modes into one limited-time Free for All mode. Players compete through randomized minigames across familiar maps like Babylon, Grind, Nuketown, and Skyline. The minigames include challenges such as a Dance Off and Musical Zones, where you must capture points before the music stops. It sounds like a fun way to mix up gameplay without worrying about scorestreaks or long matches.

Treyarch adjusted Grief mode based on player feedback. Certain GobbleGums that remove skill from revives are now restricted. The winning team earns two random Whimsical GobbleGums, and the losing team gets one.

- Several Grief effects had duration extended to 60 seconds.

- TR2 CQB Auto Conversion (Event Reward): Converts TR2 into fully automatic with a fast fire rate that slows over time, improves handling but lowers damage range.
Limited Time Zombie Modes
- Abomination Challenge: Fight the Abomination HVT Mo on Liberty Falls. Mo becomes resistant and immune to repeated weapon use. Exfil disabled until Mo is defeated.
- Starting Room: Survive waves of zombies in the initial map area with all doors sealed. Intended for 1-4 players.
Zombies Leaderboards
The King of the Dead leaderboard event rewards players for Zombie Eliminations, with more points for Special, Elite, and Boss enemies. Climbing the leaderboard depends on your skill in taking down tougher foes.
Wow, that’s a lot to take in. Will Fringe’s return bring back fond memories or just remind players of old rivalries? And what about the new Party Ops mode—does it sound like your kind of fun or a distraction from traditional matches?
