Hey, gamers! If you’re diving into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you might want to be aware of some lingering pesky issues. The developers at Treyarch and Raven are on it, but let’s break down what’s causing chaos in the game right now!
The game’s been out for a while, and while many players enjoy the action-packed gameplay, there are some bumps on the road. Treyarch has set up a public Trello board to keep everyone in the loop. As of January 15, 2025, here’s what we know about the main issues that have popped up.

Global
- The “Roped In” and “Pinky Up” Finishing Moves currently do not kill enemies.
- Dark Ops Calling Cards display as Classified in Calling Card Showcases to other players who haven’t earned them yet.
- Some players have a non-melee weapon added to dedicated-melee slot in new custom classes.
Multiplayer
- Free For All scoreboard may not be accurately calculated.
- Care Packages can be claimed by teammates faster than intended.
- The “Flowing Low” Prestige Challenge does not track progress accurately.
- Medal and Level-Up notifications are no longer displaying in Hardcore.
- Players will notice that some “Killer” Calling Card challenges do not show their recorded progress in the menus.
- Players may sometimes notice that progression levels are incorrect on in-game Scoreboards.
Zombies
- Some players may encounter a scenario where a Vermin can attack twice during a single attack.
- Players lose all in-magazine ammo for some weapons when applying armor plates.
Campaign
- We are currently investigating an issue causing campaign progress and settings changes to be lost on PC MS Store.
