Since its launch, it seems like Destiny 2 has begun to go downside. Nothing extraordinary was included except what the game has offered since its launch. Now, before 3 hours or so, Bungie has committed to change that, and they have given its community a big heads-up on what is going to change. Among the changes, Bungie admitted for their lack of communication with the community. So, they will enhance the connection between the developers and the community.
Talking about Destiny 2, it should’ve been at the top since the beginning. It should’ve been a home for lots of gamers. However, lack of communication between the community and the developers has made the game and the community to suffer. Therefore, the community has reacted to recent events quite roughly. Bungie on the other side has nothing to do except to follow the disagreements and improve the game based on what the community thinks.
As a game that makes players return and installs that “neverending feeling,” Bungie was entirely off the mark with what their thoughts. Because of all these recent events full of dissatisfaction, Bungie has finally decided to turn things around. On their official website, Bungie has reported that Destiny 2 will receive new content very soon. New game mechanics, reward systems, items, loot drops, and luckily, they’ve chosen to refurbish the XP system after they have messed up playing with it.
The developers have committed to installing a high and intensive gameplay in Destiny 2. Every Destiny 2 fan is eager to see that, especially after recent turns of events. So, on December 5th and December 12 there shall be new updates to come to Destiny 2, and as the developers stated, there will be lot more of that to go in 2018. So, Bungie is going to release two new updates for Destiny 2 on December 5th and December 12.
Below you can see their statement:
With Destiny 2’s console and PC launches behind us, we want to take some time to talk with you about Destiny 2 – specifically where it’s at today, and where it’s going. Our team has been reading feedback and working on updates to improve the game. We’ve also been reading some tough criticism about our lack of communication, and we agree we need to be more open.
Going forward, Destiny 2’s post-launch game systems, features, and updates are being designed specifically to focus on and support players who want Destiny to be their hobby – the game they return to, and a game where friendships are made. We want Destiny to be a game that fits into your life, providing you with reasons to log in and play with your friends, clans, and families. We want Destiny to be a world you want to be a part of.
A month ago, we published a list of improvements on the blog. Today, we’re going to revisit that list and update its status, and share some of the work the team is readying for December, January, and beyond.
We know it’s frustrating when there isn’t enough of a dialog with the development team. You have our commitment that we’re going to do a better job going forward.
Both of them offering various types of changes like legendary weapon drops, different rewards system, armor ornaments and more, the list is quite significant to track and therefore we’d suggest taking a look by yourself.
