Imagine wandering through the vast landscapes of Hyrule, but this time, you’re doing it with a pickaxe in hand and blocks beneath your feet. Sounds like a dream for fans of both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Minecraft, right? Hold onto your diamond swords because modders have made that dream come true!
A dedicated team led by Grazzy has spent three years crafting a recreation of Breath of the Wild within Minecraft. The whole world is yours to explore! Also, I have to say that it looks retro-glorious. Just imagine climbing up those mountains or gliding down from the sky, surrounded by familiar sights from one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.
This isn’t Grazzy’s first rodeo either; he has created several other intriguing maps for Minecraft as well. One particularly notable project is based on “Attack on Titan’s” final episode, which is definitely something to check out if you’re into that anime vibe! He also has crafted Skyloft from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and a Mario Kart 8 mod featuring four tracks from the game.
If you’re itching to get your hands on these creations, or want to relive your glorious Hyrule adventures, you can download all these maps from this link. And yes, there’s even a video detailing how they pulled off this monumental task at the end of this article.
Minecraft debuted back in 2009, and here we are, nearly sixteen years later, still churning out exciting mods like these. That really speaks volumes about what dedicated players can achieve when they put their minds together!
