This remaster draws heavily from classic Final Fantasy vibes, inviting players back into Luxendar, where warriors of light unite to vanquish evil and restore balance by reviving four vital crystals. Its turn-based combat system allows for strategic job mixing—players can customize their party’s abilities to craft their distinct playstyles. The game’s name references its tactical battle system, which utilizes Brave Points (BP) to grant extra actions or “Default” mode to conserve BP while bolstering defenses.
The original game launched on Nintendo 3DS in 2012, followed by its sequel, Bravely Second, in 2016, and another entry called Bravely Default 2, released on Switch in early 2021.
