BrainBread 2: Slaying Zombies is My Passion

BrainBread 2, which is also previously known as BrainBread: Source, is a spiritual successor of BrainBread 1. This project has been under development since 2006, and its progress has halted numerous times due to lack of teamwork or vision within the team.

Made on the Source engine, this game has a lot of speed, fast pace, just what you need for a zombie game. If you love to be scared like never before, you should try this game right now while it’s in early access on Steam. No one knows what the exact release date is. So, we see a lot of you love to slay zombies or maybe slaying zombies is your passion, but this game is a little bit different than the other zombie games.

As I saw, it is the only server based. Yes, you can create your server if you have a public IP address and stuff. Haven’t tried it so I cannot speak about it, maybe we will create a server shortly, who knows. But, the point is, it’s server based, using VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) as prevention to hackers. Well, they are everywhere, they will be in this game too. The most exciting part is the modes you can play:

Objective: You get an objective where you and your team have to finish it according to plan. You need to work with your squad harder than usual :).

PVP: Player vs. Player. You will have the chance to prove to each other who is better by playing this mode. Deathmatch most likely.

Arena Mode: Survive as many waves as possible.

Elimination

Personally, I tried the Objective mode, arena mode, and pvp. They were all so fun. But the objective kept my mind inside the game. I am telling you, this can be a future zombie game.

Up to 300 skill combinations. As you level up, you can use your skill points. Max level is 100, so you can choose 100 skill points. There are a lot of them.

There are also zombie points available if you play as a zombie. The AI humans give you 1 point for a kill while the HUMAN players give you 2 points per kill. Zombie vision lets you see in the dark too.

Why should I try this game?

You should try BrainBread 2 only because of 1 thing: FUN! Yep, get your friends together, start slaying zombies and make fun. Isn’t gaming all about fun? The game is only available for PC, so yeah, let’s do it.
