Borderlands: The Handsome Collection was made free on the Xbox Games Store yesterday. This is more likely a bug, which gives you access to two games, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
Borderlands the Handsome Collection
The name of the whole package is Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Unlock Bundle and you can buy it right now from the store. You can get it from the site on PC, or through Xbox One directly.
The collection may be made free because of the promotional weekend, or maybe it’s simply just a bug. There are not announced any free weekends, which is why we all think it is due to a bug.
If it is a store error, you will see it removed from your library. But if that happens, you could get compensated.
