Borderlands 4’s Latest Kairos Roundup Puts Dead ECHOs in an Oxygen Crisis

Gearbox’s latest Borderlands 4 roundup brings together August 13 update notes, technical support resources, community creations, and the newest episode of Borderlands: Dead ECHOs. The Borderlands Community Team shared the details in its weekly Steam announcement.
Dead ECHOs Episode 4 brings an oxygen crisis
Borderlands: Dead ECHOs Episode 4 is available now, and Watts and Junie are facing a problem that cannot be solved with a quick reload: the air is running out. DAHL Management has found a way to remove oxygen from the room while continuing its pursuit of the unlikely pair.
The scripted narrative podcast is Gearbox’s first in the Borderlands universe. Its dark comedy follows Watts, a DAHL ECHO Operator who sells valuable secrets recovered from undeliverable ECHO logs to supplement his income. Junie pulls him out of trouble, then pushes their small operation toward a Robin Hood-style scheme. Their business attracts mercenaries, violent outlaws, and a DAHL corporate hit squad led by rogue executive Vivian Proctor.
The new episode also brings guest appearances and a pileup of strange complications involving cash, prestigious institutions, old-lady wigs, Boom Rooms, and an attempted fridging. The limited series continues to release new episodes each week.
Borderlands: Dead ECHOs is available through Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and Pandora, as well as YouTube.
August 13 update notes and support links
The roundup points players toward the August 13 Weekly Update notes for the game’s newest changes. It does not repeat the changelog, but directs players to the full update page instead.
Players who need technical assistance can use the ticket-submission guide. Gearbox asks players to include a DxDiag or MSinfo file with their ticket, and a separate support walkthrough explains how to attach those files.
Kairos gets a community photo and art showcase
The Steam Community Photopalooza section gives special attention to a Borderlands 4 image from Kuka73ru. Four additional community uploads accompany the photo feature: a community capture, another Kairos photo, a player screenshot, and another community creation.
The Community Creative Corner uses an “oldies but goodies” theme this week. The featured fan work comes from EVR//DFT and hvshi-cowboy, with the showcase covering different artistic takes on the Borderlands world.
The Borderlands Community Team ended the roundup by pointing to another weekly post on Friday, August 21, which will bring more updates, community work, and possible surprises.
