The Borderlands 4 community challenge for Harlowe is active from October 17-19 and asks players to work together to complete 350,000 Contracts while playing as Harlowe. The goal is straightforward. Hit Contract Boards across Kairos, stack successful completions, and the team will unlock a SHiFT code for a new Vault Hunter skin. Harlowe players can read her profile on the official Vault Hunter page.
Gearheads already chipped in on earlier Community Challenges and nabbed skins for other Vault Hunters. Players collectively earned the “Savings Savior” Vault Hunter Skin in a prior challenge, detailed in the Rafa challenge announcement, and Rafa’s profile is available here. The team also unlocked the “Cult Classic” skin for Amon via the Amon challenge, with Amon’s details found on their page. Vex players also earned the “Mass Market Appeal” skin after a community push, announced here, with Vex’s vault hunter entry available.
Contract Boards appear in Safehouses and Faction Towns across the map and often offer extra XP, cash, Eridium, and loot. The community reward for this run is the “Maliwannabee” Vault Hunter Skin for Harlowe. Players who want to double-check requirements or pick up the game can visit the game’s store page on Steam here. The SHiFT code will be redeemable for players who meet the usual conditions.
The Steam post also points readers toward a PAX Australia recap that walks through upcoming paid and free post-launch content on that recap, and teases C4SH, one of the new Vault Hunters coming in a future paid Story Pack in the teaser. Story Packs will be sold separately or included with certain editions and packs. Terms and exact release timing for the Story Packs will be announced later.
