Borderlands 4, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K, includes collectible Evocariums across The Fadefields. This guide lists all six Evocarium locations in The Fadefields and explains where their nodes appear, useful after the game’s September 12, 2025, release.
There is no shortage of side content in Borderlands 4. From taking down bosses like Callis, The Ripper Queen to climbing the highest silos, players will find plenty to do. Collectibles constitute a significant part of progression, and one write-up argues that Borderlands 4 is collectibles, with Evocariums serving as small story beats about Nyriad and Kairos.
Coastal Bonescape Evocarium Locations
The Coastal Bonescape is the first section of The Fadefields encountered, and it contains two Evocariums to find and complete. These are relatively close to each other and serve as a good warm-up for the more spread-out sites later in the region. Both Evocariums behave the same way: interact with the base to spawn three beams that lead to remote nodes. Completing them awards Ordinite, which can be spent on SDU upgrades.
Harper’s Hideaway is the first location on the list, and it is located on the western side of the Coastal Bonescape to the north of Stillshore – the location where you can find one of the Vault Key Fragments. The Evocarium itself sits on top of a set of pipes in the southern corner of the area. Interact with the base, and three nodes will appear around the zone. The nodes are located: one on the nearby barn roof, one on the building opposite the main barn, and one on a cluster of structures in the northwest corner.
The second Evocarium in this segment of The Fadefields is on the far eastern side in an area called Waterstop. The base sits roughly in the center of Waterstop and is easy to spot once the area is clear. When activated, nodes appear on surrounding roofs and under a walkway to the north. Specifically: one on the building to the east of the Evocarium, one on the roof north of the base, and one tucked under a walkway north-northwest where pipes run beneath the stairs.
The Howl Evocarium Location
The Howl contains a single Evocarium placed inside the Wreck of the Maester in the northwestern corner of The Howl. This area is visited during the Savage Salvage side mission, so players will likely see it while progressing that objective. The Evocarium sits on a ledge near the rescue point for an NPC tied to the mission. Its three nodes appear nearby: one in the dome hut to the east on the same ledge, one on a ledge just past that hut, and one in another dome hut across the small bridge.
Hungering Plain Evocarium Location
After The Howl, travel to the Hungering Plain to find the next Evocarium, which sits in an area called Operant Control on the western edge of the segment south of Horace’s Oversight. The Evocarium base is located on the roof of the Operant Control building, easy to spot once the building is reached. When activated, the nodes appear on nearby elevated points: the silo to the northwest, a building to the southwest, and the walkway of the silo to the northeast. These nodes reward Ordinite when the Evocarium is completed.
Idolator’s Noose Evocarium Location
Idolator’s Noose is the more central segment of The Fadefields and contains an Evocarium in Tetanus Quad. The Evocarium here sits near the large broken drill in the middle of Tetanus Quad. Its color can blend with the surroundings, so look for the base near the drill and the broken machinery. The three spawned nodes appear on the barn to the southwest and on two nearby buildings to the northeast and northwest, all on rooftops.
Dissected Plateau Evocarium Location
The final Evocarium in The Fadefields is in the Dissected Plateau, the far-west segment of the map. This Evocarium sits near Zadra’s Lab and northeast of the Arch of Inceptus. A small Ripper camp surrounds the site; climb to the top of that camp to find the Evocarium by a ledge overlooking the road. Nodes spawn on three nearby buildings: one on stilts to the southeast, one with a red mark to the northeast, and one with a weathervane to the northwest.
Completing each Evocarium grants Ordinite, which is used to increase SDU capacity. The map layout in The Fadefields makes some nodes easier to reach with the right traversal abilities, so plan routes accordingly.
