Blizzard has announced the last round of PTR testing for World of Warcraft Patch 11.2, focusing on Season 3 dungeons. Even with a 10% bump in enemy health, these dungeons should feel easier than their Season 2 counterparts. That’s kinda surprising, right? The test runs from July 29 to August 5 and covers returning dungeons from The War Within, plus some major tweaks to Halls of Atonement and Tazavesh.
Season 3 Dungeon Testing Details
The PTR testing kicks off on July 29 at 18:00 PDT and wraps up on August 5 at 10:00 PDT. The spotlight’s on these dungeons:
- Eco-Dome Al’dani
- The Dawnbreaker
- Ara-Kara, City of Echoes
- Priory of the Sacred Flame
- Operation: Floodgate
- Halls of Atonement
- Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder
- Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit
- Tazavesh, the Veiled Market (Hard Mode)
General adjustments include:
- Mythic+ item level scaling increased from 710 to 723 at keystone level 10 and above.
- Enemy health increased by 10%, while their damage stays the same.
- Developer’s note: Player damage is higher than expected, so the health increase is meant to balance class gameplay. Overall, Season 3 dungeons should feel a bit easier than Season 2 for similarly geared players. Blizzard will keep an eye on feedback during testing.

So, are these changes gonna make dungeons feel smoother or too easy? I’m curious how the community reacts once they jump in. The balance act between challenge and fun is tricky, but Blizzard seems to be trying something different here. Wow, a 10% health increase, but easier dungeons?
