Black Spades will arrive on Xbox Series X|S on July 10, bringing Konsole Kingz’s take on the classic card game to the console for $19.99. The independent Black-owned studio built the game around the house rules and table talk that have long been part of family gatherings, reunions, and friendly matches.
Microsoft announced the launch in an Xbox Wire announcement. The game marks the return of a dedicated Spades experience to Xbox after nearly two decades.

Players can use familiar rules such as Jokers and Deuces, Reneg calling, partner strategy, competitive bidding, blinds, bags, and Boston wins. The game also supports several scoring targets, including 250, 350, and 500 points, while new house-rule options and customizations are planned to be added over time.
Black Spades includes online matchmaking, voice chat, competitive leaderboards, and online cross-platform multiplayer with friends on supported devices. That gives players several ways to bring the card table online, whether they are playing with family members, longtime friends, or learning Spades for the first time.
The game is available through the official Xbox store listing for $19.99. Konsole Kingz says its goal is to offer a Spades game for beginners and experienced players without taking away the traditions that make each table feel different.
