Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will open its co-op Endgame mode to every player starting Friday, November 21, the developer-era rollout that originally required campaign completion is being removed for all accounts.
According to a post on X by CharlieIntel, the Endgame mode – the four-player, Avalon-based co-op experience that has been compared to DMZ – will no longer be gated behind finishing the campaign. Players who have already completed the campaign to unlock Endgame will get a small bundle of compensation items.
The rewards listed for those who beat the campaign are:
- 3x 1-hour 2XP Tokens
- 2x Weapon XP Tokens
- 2x Battle Pass XP Tokens
- 3x Perkaholic GobbleGums
Co-Op Endgame mode will unlock for all Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 players starting this Friday, November 21.

For a deeper look at the mode itself see our explainer on the co-op campaign and unified progression here and the Endgame mode reveal here. The move removes a friction point for players who skipped or never finished the campaign. Endgame has been one of the better-received parts of Black Ops 7 in early impressions, so making it available to everyone could lift concurrent player numbers, or at least give multiplayer more breathing room without the campaign prerequisite. It comes about two weeks after release, which is quick. The timing suggests the team wants to increase engagement fast, and it will be worth watching whether the mode draws back lapsed players or spreads existing population across more match types.
