Activision, alongside developers Treyarch and Raven Software, released the December 10 patch notes for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, outlining fixes for multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame systems. The multiplayer portion focused on out-of-bounds and UI issues. The update closed locations where players could leave the intended playspace on maps, including Standoff, Fate, Scar, Paranoia, and Toshin. It also fixed a Scout Hybrid Combat Specialty effect that lasted longer than intended, and corrected challenge problems that allowed Full Auto Mayhem and One Man Army to be completed after a single kill.
UI fixes restored the ability to select One in the Chamber in Private Match, prevented some Scorestreaks from incorrectly showing a deployed state after use, brought loading screen stats back to Skirmish, and made favorite faction selections persist after restarting. Zombies received a handful of targeted fixes. On Astra Malorum, the LGM-1 was corrected to avoid having stock ammo, a bug that interacted badly with Stock Option GobbleGum and the Frenzied Fire Augment. The team fixed an issue that sometimes awarded the Main Quest Calling Card when players failed the Final Encounter, and prevented O.S.C.A.R. from getting stuck in the starting area. On Ashes of the Damned the developers closed an exploit that allowed players to block zombie pathing with Ol’ Tessie.
Enemy adjustments include changes to HVT Uber Klaus: Tesla Coils now have fixed health, its damage mitigation was slightly reduced, and it can now be stunned. Dead Ops Arcade 4 had its maximum fungus hazards adjusted by difficulty, and several Zombies challenges were tweaked, most notably the Bloodstone Camo unlock requirement being reduced from 30 completions to 5.
Co-op and Endgame fixes addressed multiple progression and ability issues. The Ballistic Shell Major Ability now properly goes on cooldown when activated, Exotic Weapons will progress base Weapon Levels and Weapon Camo again, and Dedicated Melee weapons were corrected to function with the Mega Punch Exotic Skill.

- Addressed an issue where Exotic Weapons would not progress their base Weapon Levels or Weapon Camo progress.
- Addressed an issue that prevented Dedicated Melee weapons from functioning properly with the Mega Punch Exotic Skill.
