Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded is arriving on July 2 at 9 AM PT, offering fans a remastered version of the classic map Fringe along with new multiplayer maps, modes, and Zombies updates. This patch aims to address previous issues and introduce new content that players may enjoy.
Fringe is a favorite three-lane map from Black Ops 3 that has never received a remake until now. Treyarch has kept its familiar layout but given it a fresh visual update, which should please longtime fans. Alongside Fringe, the new multiplayer map Eclipse introduces a small, fast-paced setting inside a nightclub located on Avalon — the same place featured in the Black Ops 7 campaign.
For those interested in lighter, party-style gameplay, the Party Ops Limited Time Mode offers a free-for-all experience across several maps like Babylon, Grind, Nuketown, and Skyline. Players face randomized minigames without score limits or Scorestreaks, requiring quick adaptation to different challenges.
The Zombies mode sees multiple changes this season. The Grief mode receives updates that make enemy effects more punishing and include bans on certain revive-related GobbleGums. Zombie spawn rates increase after Capture Zone completions, and players finishing matches can earn Whimsical GobbleGum rewards.
Two new limited-time modes stand out: the Abomination Challenge tasks players with defeating a powerful HVT named Mo, who gains resistance and immunity to repeated weapons. This mode disables exfiltration until Mo is defeated and supports up to four players on the Liberty Falls map. Meanwhile, the Starting Room mode drops players into the first area of a map with sealed doors, forcing them to survive as long as possible against escalating zombie waves.
Competitive Zombies fans can participate in the King of the Dead Leaderboard Event, where eliminations earn points to climb ranks. Special, Elite, and Boss enemies bring more points, encouraging players to tackle tougher foes. Rewards await those who place well at the event’s conclusion.
