Even though I didn’t write guides up until this moment, and for that very same reason, I have decided to make a guide for this boss and pass on all the previous ones. Yellow Wind Sage is a boss that can be really annoying, especially if you’re playing on a gamepad rather than a mouse and keyboard.
But let’s review all the things we used to make this fight good, such as the build, weapons, etc. We went for a slightly more defensive build, so let’s start by showing you that before we jump into the fight. Keep in mind that the images below do not include Alterations and Transformations because there are 0 Sparks invested in them. You can find the images below.

Yellow Wind Sage Abilities
Moves to be aware of:
- He has a weird and intensive start of the fight, and you should dodge or use abilities when initiating. He swings like mad man.
- Ranged Ability – Swings his sword to create a wave.
- Leg Kick – kicks you in the air and uses more combos in order that takes a lot of damage. Dodge it!
- Sand Form – he turns into a sand form and jumps while swinging with his weapon. Try to dodge everything during this phase.
- Big Bug – he gets mad and calls a big bug that jumps in the air and tries to smash you. You need to dodge this, too.
- Calls a tornado – in the end phase, he calls a tornado that will disable you. Try to avoid it.
