Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is not heading to Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release, and Ubisoft has not announced any launch-window Game Pass plan for the project.
Recent remake chatter has also included earlier Black Flag hints from Edward Kenway’s voice actor, which kept the pirate-era Assassin’s Creed entry in the conversation.
The project is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, and the current $59.99 price puts it in standard premium-release territory rather than a subscription launch. That makes a day-one Game Pass spot doubtful.
Assassin’s Creed on Xbox Game Pass right now
Microsoft’s current Xbox Game Pass catalog already carries a long stretch of Assassin’s Creed games, including the original Black Flag. The list currently includes:
- Assassin’s Creed II
- Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations
- Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
- Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag
- Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
- Assassin’s Creed Rogue / Rogue Remastered
- Assassin’s Creed Unity
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, India & Russia
- Assassin’s Creed Origins
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage
- Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection
For now, players who want to revisit Edward Kenway’s story at launch should plan on buying it outright, while Game Pass subscribers can keep an eye on Microsoft’s regular catalog updates.
