Big Walk Crosses One Million Sales Days After Its PS Plus Debut
Panic says Big Walk sold one million paid copies in six days, excluding PlayStation Plus downloads; the co-op adventure is also available on Nintendo Switch 2.
Big Walk has crossed the one-million-paid-copy mark in six days, just days after its August 4 debut on PlayStation Plus Essential. Panic’s tally excludes PlayStation Plus downloads, so it counts purchases rather than everyone who accessed the game through the subscription service. That gives House House’s cooperative adventure a very large reason to celebrate, and probably a lot of virtual high-fives to hand out.
An official update on X clarified that the total covers paid copies rather than PlayStation Plus downloads. Panic also marked the milestone in a Bluesky post featuring a group of colorful characters and the message A Million Thanks. The post shares the sales total without providing a platform-by-platform breakdown.

House House’s previous breakout, Untitled Goose Game, took three months to reach the same one-million-copy milestone, as an earlier sales update shows. Big Walk has given the studio another remarkably quick success.
Big Walk is built around online cooperation, with crossplay letting friends play together across platforms, but it does not include matchmaking, so groups need to bring their own crew. Players travel through a wide-open world, solve puzzles and challenges, and use different tools and toys to stay connected while working out how to progress together. There are no monsters, scares, deaths, or traditional fail states to get in the way when a plan goes hilariously wrong.
SteamDB’s charts showed more than 30,000 daily concurrent users on PC. Big Walk also sat second on Steam’s Top Sellers list, behind Steam Machine, and led the download-only games chart on Nintendo Switch 2. The game held a 92 score on Metacritic.
The game’s arrival on PlayStation Plus Essential gave subscribers a way to play with friends as soon as the August lineup refreshed. Xbox did not have the game at the time of the sales announcement. Big Walk is also available on Nintendo Switch 2. With one million paid copies sold, Big Walk has reached a cheerful checkpoint for a game all about sharing the journey.
