Bethesda’s Starfield, the interstellar title, has received a release date, and it’s launching on Xbox and PC on November 11, 2022. It seems that Bethesda is ready for something very promiscuous, based on the release date. Starfield will be Xbox and PC exclusive. Quick math 11 + 11 = 22, and it’s a date similar to the release of Skyrim, November 11, 2011.
Many would argue that Bethesda wants to imply something greater than just another ordinary video game simply due to the success of Skyrim. Taken into consideration, this is Bethesda’s first unique universe in 25 years of existence. Bethesda is more likely to be hinting at a new flagship video game to carry the industry in a whole new direction.
The teaser released at E3 2021 doesn’t seem to hold a lot of gameplay information, but Bethesda states that players will have their own personal choice on who and where they want to be at any given time. Starfield will supposedly allow players to define their characters according to their needs and progress through responsive actions in the game.
Starfield is one of the games demanding modern hardware and technology, and it is one reason why the developers have plunged this far.
