Which maps are easiest to learn
Dam Battlegrounds is the friendliest map to start with. Open sight lines and fewer tight chokepoints make it simple to learn patrol paths and container spawns. Night cycles change things up, so don’t get complacent once the sun goes down. Buried City is the second-easiest on paper, but its dense streets make PvP chaotic. Look for higher observation points to scope out quest areas and plan routes between tight alleys.
Maps that punish mistakes
Blue Gate is rated the hardest by the game but its openness gives you room to breathe and escape into vertical tunnels if ARC forces push you. It feels dangerous, but it also lets skilled players rotate away from fights. Spaceport is the map that will make you cry the most. It is sprawling, packed with ARC enemies, and forces long crossings with little cover to reach the central Launch Tower.
