As the developer Stunlock Studios said, Battlerite Royale mode will become a thing in Battlerite, despite its genre diversity. What differs from the original Battle Royale genre is that we’re not talking about any shooter game. It’s far beyond that. Battlerite is an Action MOBA/Arena Brawler, and as such, will be the first to receive a Battle Royale mode.
Battlerite has been excessively moving forward, grasping lots of newcomers and turning them into an inherent part of the community. The newly announced Battle Royale mode has been announced today, leading to a series of discussions over the social networks, seeking for a reasonable explanation of how everything’s going to play out.

For those who do not know, Battlerite is played in a top-down perspective using WASD controls for movement and involves skill before anything else. All the current characters in Battlerite possess a set of abilities that players can use throughout a match.
Johan Ilves, marketing director ad Stunlock Studios has claimed:
“With a top-down Battle Royale mode we’ve set out to bring the ultimate survival experience to Action RPG and MOBA players.” said Johan Ilves, Marketing Director at Stunlock Studios. “We want to give players the excitement of a Diablo-esque exploration experience combined with the character variation of a MOBA and the thrill of a survival game. That said, I think anyone who’s looking for a fresh and different take on the Battle Royale genre will have a blast.”
Therefore, we assume that the top-down perspective will still be a vital choice for the Battlerite BR mode. However, one thing concerns us the most, and that is how players are going to gain an advantage over others as they move throughout the Battle Royale match. We assume that there will be some items, which will allow players to loot after killing their prey before going deeper into the Battle Royale session.
Overall, it is something that has never been seen before. Having this kind of genre adapting a BR mode for their game is just priceless. After all, it may turn out to be surprisingly good. The new Battle Royale mode in Battlerite will become available during this summer.
