The event will mark the first appearance of the F-74 A Seacat anywhere in the Battlefield franchise. The announcement presents the aircraft as a major part of the Top Gun fantasy, giving players a new way to take the fight into the skies.
Top Gun-themed modes and expansive new maps will arrive alongside the aircraft. The update will also introduce an elite squad of aviators whose in-game characters were shaped in collaboration with the stars of Top Gun.
