Battlefield 6 Open Beta Faces DLSS and DLAA Glitch, Fix Expected Soon

Battlefield 6 Open Beta is underway, but players have noticed that DLSS and DLAA aren’t working as expected. These graphical tools are key to smoother performance and better visuals, so their absence is felt during gameplay.

Week 2 of the beta has been a bit rougher, with matchmaking and playlist problems already causing headaches. Now, the missing DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) features add to the frustration. Why aren’t they working?

Why DLSS and DLAA Are Disabled in the 2nd Battlefield 6 Open Beta

Both DLSS and DLAA are currently turned off in the Open Beta because of an ongoing issue the Battlefield 6 team is looking into. That’s about as clear as it gets for now. The official Battlefield Comms X page posted:

“The team is aware of reports regarding DLSS / DLAA being unavailable in the Open Beta. We’ll follow up with additional updates as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!”

So yeah, vague but at least they know what’s up. Thankfully, more info came later.

The team expects to have DLSS and DLAA working again by August 14. They’ve pinpointed the root cause and are actively working on a fix. Here’s the latest update from Battlefield Comms:

“The team have identified the root cause of this issue and are working to have this resolved and DLSS / DLAA active once again within the Battlefield Open Beta. We expect this to be resolved later today, and will update accordingly.”

Guess we’ll have to live with some less-than-smooth explosions and jagged edges for a bit longer. It’s a bummer, but at least they’re talking to us about it. Any surprises or delays could still pop up, but fingers crossed, it’s sorted quickly.
