Battlefield 6 is giving players a free week while Season 3 adds Tactical Obliteration

REDSEC is getting Casual Battle Royale, the Wet Work event, and the EOD Bot Arm, while the trial runs through July 6.

Battlefield 6 Season 3’s High-Value Target update is live now, and it pairs a week-long free trial with new multiplayer content across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. The trial runs through July 6, and it gives players five modes and four maps, including Cairo Bazaar, Railway to Golmud, Contaminated, and Eastwood.

The biggest gameplay addition is Tactical Obliteration, a smaller-team Battlefield 6 mode built around chasing the bomb carrier and getting the charge to the detonation site. REDSEC also picks up Casual Battle Royale, which adds bot players as a softer way into the mode, while the new Wet Work event turns every match into a hunt-or-be-hunted affair across multiplayer and REDSEC.

There is also a new hardware addition in the EOD Bot Arm, a melee weapon that gives squads another close-range option when the fighting gets messy. Battlefield 6 has already used timed free trials before, including the Nightfall season trial, but this one folds Season 3’s content into the same window.
