Battlefield 6 Hotfix Resolves Bullet Damage Registration Issue

Battlefield 6 has received a new hotfix that tackles a rare but frustrating issue affecting bullet damage registration. Players had reported occasional moments where bullets would fail to register damage correctly upon hitting an enemy, prompting an internal investigation by the developers.

According to the EA DICE, the problem stemmed from specific weapon attachment combinations that interfered with hit detection under certain conditions. Following their findings, a corrective update has now been deployed across all platforms, resolving known cases of the issue.  The developers will continue to monitor in-game performance to ensure stability and accuracy remain consistent following the fix.

As per the developer official statement:

Update on Bullet Damage Registration,

We’re aware of reports of rare cases where bullets may not register damage correctly when hitting enemies. Following our investigation, we found this was related to certain weapon attachment combinations. A hotfix has been deployed to address known instances. We’ll continue to monitor performance.
