Battlefield 6 has received a server-side fix for a movement bug that could halt a player’s jump momentum when certain weapons were equipped. The Battlefield Comms X account posted that the update addresses “an issue where jump momentum gets unintentionally interrupted when jumping with certain weapons equipped.” The message says the fix is live across all platforms.
If you noticed sluggish movement while jumping with your knife or the repair tool out, that behavior should be gone now. The original note came from a post from the Battlefield Comms account announcing the fix. The jump fix is part of a string of quick patches this week. The studio also issued compensation for players affected by an EA app outage. It was previously mentioned on X that Breakthrough maps were receiving backend adjustments due to some matches not always reaching the intended player counts.
