EA is hosting several beta phases for Battlefield 6 before its October release, giving players a chance to test the game early. Here’s a clear breakdown of the beta start times, how to get early access, and what’s included.

Beta pre-loads are available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App). The early access phase begins on August 7th, with full open weekends following.

How to Get Early Access to the Battlefield 6 Beta

Early access requires a code, which you could get by participating in Battlefield Labs before the reveal or by watching Twitch streamers during the event to earn a Twitch Drop code.

Update (August 1, 13:00 BST): Twitch Drops for early access ended with the reveal event. If you missed Battlefield Labs and the Twitch Drops, you’ll have to wait until Weekend 1 to play.

Unfortunately, the Phantom Edition of the game does not grant early beta access. If you didn’t get a code via Labs or Twitch, there’s no official way to get early access at this point.

What’s Included in the Battlefield 6 Beta?

The beta will feature 4 modes and 4 maps initially, with more added in the second weekend.

Weekend 1 (August 9-10):

Maps
Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, Iberian Offensive
Modes
Conquest, Closed Weapons Breakthrough, Domination, King of the Hill

Weekend 2 (August 14-17):

Maps
All Weekend 1 maps plus Empire State
Modes
All Weekend 1 modes plus Rush and Squad Deathmatch

Playing the beta will earn you cosmetic rewards for the full game by completing challenges.

Wow, it seems like EA is putting some effort into rewarding players who test the beta. Curious if the gameplay lives up to expectations? I wonder how chaotic 64-player matches will feel this time around.
