Battlefield 6 fans have some news to mark on their calendars. There will be two beta events happening in August, giving players a chance to get a feel for the game before its October release. This matters because it offers a sneak peek at what’s coming and lets the community test the multiplayer experience ahead of time.
The first beta phase is a closed beta scheduled for August 7th to 8th. Access codes for this will be available through Twitch drops from content creators streaming the multiplayer reveal event or by pre-ordering the game. It’s a pretty cool way to reward those who are actively following the launch or committed enough to pre-order.
Then, from August 9th to 10th, the beta will open up to everyone. This means anyone interested will be able to jump in and test the game during this short window. But wait, there’s more. A second open beta will happen shortly after, running from August 14th through the 17th, giving even more time to play around with the multiplayer.
One thing that stays a bit mysterious is the free-to-play Battle Royale mode. It’s unclear if EA will mention it during the multiplayer reveal or save that announcement for later. That’s a question many will be watching closely because it could change how people approach the game.
Battlefield 6 will launch on October 10, 2025, for Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and PC, with a price tag of $69.99. Will these beta phases help build excitement or reveal any surprises? Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
