Battlefield 6, from developer DICE and publisher EA, had leaked footage of its upcoming Battle Royale mode surface online around August 31, 2025. The clip offers a brief glimpse of early gameplay and its spread after appearing on Bilibili, before transitioning to broader social platforms.
The leak is a 1:53 clip that shows the mode starting sequences, swimming, and even building destruction with a sledgehammer. The physics of those collapsing walls stands out; explosions and close-quarters chaos are visible in quick bursts.

The mode itself was confirmed during Battlefield 6’s reveal, and what’s known so far points to a standard Battle Royale plus a competitive variant called Gauntlet. The new mode will be free-to-play and positioned by EA as a competitor to other free BRs. Battlefield 6 is set to release on October 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and the team has confirmed that the mode won’t launch with the base game.
If the clip leaves questions, what Gauntlet will look like, how progression works, or whether classic Battlefield elements stay intact, the community will be watching closely. What do you think of the leaked footage?
