Battlefield 6 players woke up to a compact stability update on November 11 at 9 AM UTC that addresses a handful of aim and vehicle problems and irons out several REDSEC Battle Royale pain points on PC, PS5, and Xbox.
The 1.1.1.5 release focuses on weapon accuracy tweaks tied to sprint to ADS transitions, fixes for Lock-Guided Missiles not being countered by flares, and several map and spawn corrections in Breakthrough and Conquest. The update also applies multiple bug fixes to REDSEC match flow and progression.
What matters is that this patch corrects a few mechanical issues that had direct impact on gunplay and vehicle engagements. The sprint to ADS dispersion fixes remove an odd bit of randomness that inflated bullet spread when coming out of sprint. That tweak will be most felt by players who hip fire into quick aim downsights mid movement. It also patches a separate scaling bug that was treating players as if they were always moving at top speed for dispersion math.
Vehicle players will notice countermeasures behave more predictably. Flares and similar defensive tools should now reliably defeat Lock-Guided Missiles. That matters for pilots and transport crews who were seeing missiles pass through countermeasures more often than they should. The vehicle spawn fixes in objective modes should cut down on matches that start in odd states or where vehicles are missing from frontline lanes.
REDSEC Battle Royale received a tidy bundle of fixes. Matches that failed to end after the last team elimination are now fixed. The patch also addresses cases where squad revives and Second Chance handling could leave a team stuck in limbo. Those are the kinds of bugs that turn a clutch into a farce and the patch makes those moments work the way players expect.
This follows earlier handling and movement adjustments in recent updates and builds on prior stability work laid out in the 1.1.1.0 patch notes for players tracking the live fixes.
