Usually, when a game developer says they’ve reached server capacity, it’s a problem. But for Battlefield 2042, this is a sign of its current success. The game, which has had its ups and downs since launching two years ago, recently had its developers announce on Twitter that they’re increasing server capacity due to high demand.
While it’s inconvenient for players who can’t log in, it shows the game is picking up steam.
We're aware that some of you are currently unable to log into #Battlefield2042 due to Server Capacity messages.
Demand is high right now, and we're working to improve this as soon as possible.

A while ago, Battlefield 2042 hit a notable milestone with 101,362 concurrent players. To put that number in context, the game’s launch day had about 100,590 players. These stats are quite impressive, considering they only account for Steam users and not console players.
EA Dice has made it clear they are fully committed to Battlefield 2042, with plans to make it a leading shooter title again. This dedication from the developers seems to be paying off. Of course, everyone thinks whether Battlefield 2042 can keep this momentum going. Time will tell, but the signs are pointing in the right direction.
