Battlefield 2042 has had quite a turbulence over the past period, with the developing company failing to distribute what’s called a perfect gameplay experience since the game launch back on November 12, 2021. After tons of feedback provided by the players, it seems that the first Scoreboard iteration is ready to settle in the world of Battlefield 2042.
Battlefield 2042 Patch 3.3 is scheduled to be deployed tomorrow, March 8, at 09:00 UTC.
While everyone is excited about the complete Battlefield 2042 3.3 patch notes, I am excited about the quality of life changes, including game performance and features. One of the refreshing features is definitely the Scoreboard, but that’s not all, as per EA’s official Blog post.
Battlefield 2042 Update 3.3 Notes, Scoreboard, and more
The Scoreboard now features a team vs. team split look for certain team-based modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, and Team Deathmatch, alongside the inclusion of the deaths stat to the scoreboard.
Below you can see how the reworked and new Scoreboard looks:
Furthermore, EA Dice has also fixed a couple of game crash issues and bugs.
General
- Fixed a game crash that could occur on Origin or Xbox One when signing in/out while using an Xbox One controller
- Setting “Chat” Key Bindings no longer requires a game restart to take effect
- Adjusted Aim Assist on console to ensure that the system is in effect when analogue sticks are at 100% of their range. Previously it was only active at ranges below 100%
- Fixed a bug where takedowns would not result in a kill on Xbox One and PlayStation®4
- Established new location for our EU Data Centre as Frankfurt
Modes
- Conquest & Breakthrough – fixed a bug where the Securing Objective XP-event was triggered even after a Capture Point was already fully captured
- Hazard Zone – fixed a visual bug displaying squad mates during the match found sequence
- Hazard Zone – fixed a bug where the End of Round XP gains sometimes didn’t trigger
Because of the struggles, the developer has also decided to surprise the owners of each Battlefield 2042 edition with a new Steadfast Exclusive Legendary Bundle, containing of the following items:
- Zero Resistance Skin for Mackay
- Grasshopper Weapon Skin for the K30
- Rapid Hammer Weapon Skin for the M44
- Iron Chariot Vehicle Skin for the M5C Bolte
- Rib Tickler Melee Weapon Skin
- Resolute Player Card Background
- The Steadfast Player Card Icon
Overall, there are plenty of surprises to cheer for, and we’ll be checking the new changes tomorrow. There are ~12 hours left until the deployment of Battlefield 2042 patch 3.3, so practicing in some fast conquest games to shake off the rust off of you would be ideal.
