Tom Henderson, a renowned leaker especially for the Battlefield franchise, has stated that Battlefield 2021 would not resemble a sci-fi game. Even if the game’s set in the near future, it would not have an intelligent AI that would drive players insane. Battlefield 6 or Battlefield 2021 is supposed to be a very accurate representation of 2030s military combat compared to Final Stand.
Hence, there won’t be any automated and out-of-control AI or vehicular phenomenons that will be insanely overpowered. Hence, “no hover tanks or anything like that.” This was stated by Tom Henderson in response to a Twitter question asking if the game would bring new weapons and vehicles from BF Final Stand.
The response to the question was that Battlefield is not Sci-Fi, and “everything in it is developmental weapons and vehicles being developed right now. So no railguns (Unless DLC)”. Hence, the weapons that exist in the real world will most likely be replicated in the game. This would naturally contribute to more realistic gameplay.

Battlefield 6 Release date is currently unknown, with a slight estimation of release during Holiday 2021. If it was to guess based on certain data, we believe that the game’s reveal might occur during May, which will follow with a release in the upcoming 3 to 6-month time span.
