BattleBit Remastered is preparing a major update called Operation Overhaul and will open a technical playtest at the end of November 2025. The developer says the update touches gameplay, maps, UI, balancing, graphics, and general quality-of-life, and they want players to test early builds and report issues.

Security patch
The team also pushed a patch to address a Unity engine security vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2025-59489. There is no evidence anyone has been affected, and both Steam and Windows have applied their own mitigations. The developers said they patched the issue on their end to be safe.
