Baldur’s Gate 3 – Patch 4 will have Loaded Dice, Improved Cinematics and a New Class

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 4 will probably be Larian’s biggest update yet. With many things confirmed for this update, Baldur’s Gate 3 fans will get tons of new content and improvements.

Loaded Dice were revealed in the recent Panel From Hell stream by Larian Studios, which will ensure that players won’t continuously get bad dice rolls. However, this only affects D20 and will not provide Damage rolls.

Cinematics will also be getting big improvements. There have been lots of enhancements to animation and lighting. Many narrative cutscenes also benefit from a lighting pass, making them look all the better.

However, what really takes the cake is the addition of a new class – The Druid. With Baldur’s Gate being as good as it is, no RPG is truly complete without the iconic Druid class. The druid will have over 30 new spells and abilities, all related to the wilds. Druids will transform into different animals to gain additional bonuses, like stealth, damage, and sustain.

Baldur’s Gate Patch 4 still has no release date, but Larian stated that it’s releasing soon, so stay tuned for more news.
