Ubisoft deployed Title Update 2.0 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, officially adding a selectable third-person perspective and a New Game+ mode while bringing new PC upscaling options. The patch introduces NVIDIA DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 4 on PC and adds Multi-Frame Gen support for NVIDIA RTX 50-series cards, with the developer warning that frame-generation tech can add slight input latency and recommending a higher base framerate when using it.
Ubisoft sized the PC download at roughly 44GB and flagged several known issues tied to frame generation, including crashes on startup when XeSS Frame Generation is enabled and crashes on exit when any frame-generation mode is active. The team said it is investigating stuttering when AMD FSR3 Frame Generation runs in Borderless Fullscreen and frame drops when switching display modes while frame generation is enabled. The company had previously confirmed a free third-person mode and New Game+ as part of the broader December updates; readers can see earlier coverage of the planned features in the consolepcgaming preview of the third-person mode and New Game+.
Ubisoft also used promotion for a related expansion and a pre-order offer listed on the publisher’s preorder page and provided corporate details on the Ubisoft group site.
