Assassin’s Creed Mirage gets its free Valley of Memory DLC as Title Update 1.1.0 on November 18 at 14:00 UTC. The update adds roughly six hours of new content set in the AlUla region, new difficulty options, a raft of gameplay changes, and a long list of fixes across platforms.
Players will need to complete the “Head of the Snake” mission to access the new region. New players can skip ahead from the main menu to jump straight into the Valley of Memory story. Download sizes vary by platform and are listed as follows. PlayStation 5 22.6GB. PlayStation 4 16.6GB. Xbox Series X/S 32.39GB. Xbox One 10.11GB. PC 28.15GB.
The DLC sends Basim to AlUla, where rumors point to his long-lost father. The region includes both new and returning world activities. Named additions include Stolen Goods, where players steal maps from robbers, and Oud Melodies, which asks players to collect musical scenes using parkour sequences. Replayable Animus Sequences are being added as well. These offer new challenges and reward Animus Mods by auto-refilling tools and resources in that mode or in New Game Plus.
Gameplay changes aim to make movement and combat feel more responsive. The update adds a manual jump option so players can jump using a button. Ejects to the side and back now work even when Basim lacks a clear landing spot or handhold. A toggleable “Free” mode can be switched on or off, and a “Safe” mode is available for more forgiving landings. Tool aim assist now snaps to enemy weak points while aiming from behind.
Two new difficulty tiers appear. Hardened Assassin sits between Assassin and Master Assassin. Ultra Hardened is the latest top difficulty. There is also a Custom Difficulty preset for tailored challenges. Tool upgrades reach tier 3 with new effects such as explosive Throwing Knives, corrosive Smoke Bombs that dissolve dead enemies, Blow Darts that pierce heavily armored foes, Noisemakes that put enemies to sleep in the impact zone, and Traps that can make guards attack each other.
Other additions include a new skill called Engineer 2, which lets players equip all level 1 tool upgrades, and an option to cancel a chain kill once it has started. The notoriety system was rebalanced to line up with the new difficulties. UI tweaks add a fast travel button between Baghdad and AlUla once the new questline begins and introduce clearer objective icons and an “upgradable tool” indicator for Banu Musa and the Workbench.
