Assassin’s Creed Mirage Expected to be a 20-30 Hour Long Experience

Ubisoft has recently confirmed that the latest iteration in their flagship franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, will be approximately 20-30 hours long. The update follows earlier claims by the company that the game would last around 15-20 hours.

Those rushing through the game can finish it in about 20 hours, though completionists might take as long as 30.

The franchise has been criticized in recent years for lengthy and bloated gameplay. Titles such as Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla have been critiqued for their extended game time. The condensed and shorter gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a welcome change for the series fans.

This revised estimate comes from a recent interview with lead producer Fabian Salamon by French YouTuber Julien Chièze. Salamon shared updated figures based on recent playtests, suggesting that the game duration will be a little longer than initially projected.

Salamon revealed that playtests showed the game takes on average 20-24 hours to complete. Players who solely focus on the main story can finish it in around 20 hours, while completionist playthroughs may clock in at around 25-30 hours.

Another confirmation is about the game’s open-world map. The Baghdad map in Mirage is set to be roughly the same size as Revelations‘ Constantinople and Unity‘s Paris.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled to launch on October 12 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Ubisoft has announced no plans for any post-launch DLC or expansions for the game.
